ACC
  • Pitt and Syracuse will each pay the Big East a $7.5 million exit fee to leave on July 1, 2013 to join the ACC
  • Notre Dame will join the ACC for all sports except football, but the date of the realignment is unknown as of Sep. 12, 2012
    Big East
  • Boise State and San Diego State will move from the Mountain West Conference to the Big East in 2013 for football only
  • Houston, Southern Methodist University, Memphis, and Central Florida will move from Conference USA to the Big East in all sports in 2013
  • Navy will join Big East in 2015 for football only

    Conference USA
  • Florida International, Louisiana Tech, North Texas and UT-San Antonio are joining Conference USA in 2013 in all sports
  • Old Dominion leaving Colonial Athletic Association to joing Conference USA in 2013
  • Charlotte is joining Conference USA for football in 2015 (all other sports in 2013)

  • Utah State and San Jose State will leave WAC to join Mountain West in July 2013
